Abstract:
To provide a front fork which can generate a larger damping force and generate damping forces having different magnitudes between a compression stroke and an extension stroke.SOLUTION: A front fork 10 includes: a spring receiver 20 which receives one end of a spring 17 and has a through hole 22a through which an oil passes; and a valve mechanism 30 which is provided at the inner side of the spring receiver 20 and may adjust a flow rate of the oil passing through the through hole 22a. The valve mechanism 30 has: a first valve 31 which may close at least a part of the through hole 22a; and a first application part 32 which contacts with the first valve 31 at its tip and applies a force, which presses the first valve 31 toward a bottom part 22, to the first valve 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
