Abstract:

PURPOSE: To secure stiffness, and concurrently enhance assembling properties for a tie-rod in the front suspension lower arm support structure.

CONSTITUTION: A steering gear box support member 22 is interposed between front side members 14, the steering gear box support member 22 together with a dash panel 20 is formed into a closed cross sectional structure 24 extended in the car width direction. The rear section of a lower arm brace 12 is supported by the steering gear box support member 22, and the front section of the lower arm brace 12 is supported by a support reinforce 34 fixed onto the steering gear box support member 22. A front suspension lower arm 10 is installed onto the lower arm brace 12.
