Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To write data at a correct position on the magnetic stripe of a bankbook by comparing data read when the bankbook is inserted with data read again before writing operation and performing the writing operation after confirming that the bankbook is conveyed to a specific position.
SOLUTION: In the writing process, a data track is read so as to confirm the track to be written surely moves to the position where an MS head is present in a step (S)13 after the bankbook is moved in S12. In S14, the data stored when the bankbook is inserted is also read and those two data are compared with each other. In S15, it is judged that the bankbook has moved to the specific position when it is found in S15 that those data are mutually the same and in S16, data are received from a host; and the data are written to the magnetic stripe in S17. When it is judged by the comparison that they are different from each other, it is judged that the stop position of the bank book is different, so that the bankbook is moved again.
