PURPOSE: To discharge quickly moisture penetrated into and accumulated in an ALC panel by a method wherein a ventilation groove provided passing vertically through the inside of the ALC panel is made to open to the exterior-side atmosphere.
CONSTITUTION: In the construction of a wall surface, external wall finish coating materials are applied to the surface of the external wall and ALC panels 4, with dampproofing treatment and heat insulating materials applied thereto, are used to the interior side. Then, the construction is so made that the side equipped with a ventilation groove communicating with the upper and the lower sides is placed on the interior-side, while a groove communicating with the entire body of the panel is made to communicate with air in an attic and in a space under the floor. A ventilation groove is provided between the heat insulating materials 5 and the ALC panel 4 so that dry air can be made to pass therethrough. Even though water penetrates into the wall body, the moisture inside the wall body can be discharged smoothly as vapor to the outside of the wall body through the ventilation groove, and thereby frost damage arising from freezing of taken-in moisture can be prevented.
