Abstract:

To provide a frozen bread food product which is an always soft frozen food product comprising a side dish sandwiched between pieces of baked bread without hardening or drying up the bread on the outside when warmed in a microwave oven and making even the side dish in the interior edible in hot conditions.

The frozen food product is obtained by sandwiching the side dish between the pieces of bread which is obtained by baking highly hydrated bread dough and carrying out a freezing treatment of the whole. Fine powder wheat flour is preferably contained in the highly hydrated bread dough and the side dish is preferably an ice cream.
