To provide a frozen carbon dioxide blast washing device which enhances washing effect and washing efficiency, and improves safety and working environment by eliminating oxygen deficiency and splashing of washing ash.
This blast washing device comprises a pressurized gas pressure-feeding means 2 which decompresses an inert gas of a low dew point in a gas cylinder 8 and sends out the gas by pressurized gaseous flow after pressure adjustment, a blast body 1 which forcibly feeds the fine grains of frozen carbon dioxide in a storage tank 9 by the pressurized gaseous flow from a pressure-feeding port 11, a cold and heat resistant, flexible detergent hose 3 of a short length of ≤7.5 m, which is connected to the port 11, a blast gun 4 which is attached to the tip of the hose 3, a plurality of tubular nozzles 5 which are connected to the blast gun 4 and jet the fine grains of the frozen carbon dioxide and the pressurized gaseous flow, a hood 6 which is integrally movably and removably attached to the nozzle 5 in order to cover the filling atmosphere of the gaseous flow mingled with a detergent between the nozzle 5 at the time of washing operation and the washing surface of the object 7 for washing, and a venting means 7 which induces the gaseous flow mingled with the detergent in the hood 6 and exhausts the gaseous flow by the cleaned gas after collecting contamination dust.
