Title:
FRYING PAN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0884671
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the heat transfer and uniforming of heat to a food to be cooked, insulate the heat transfer to a lid or handle, and also give steaming effect or foil baking taste by connecting a carbon material as a good heat transfer material with a stainless steel plate by contact, and constituting a side surface part of only stainless steel.

CONSTITUTION: The bottom part 13 of a frying pan body 11 has good heat conducting and uniforming effects by connecting a carbon material 23 having a high heat conductivity to a stainless steel plate 22. Since the carbon material 23 having a relatively high thermal capacity is used in the bottom part 13, foil baking taste can be provided together with steaming effect. Further, since a side surface part 14 is formed of only a stainless steel plate 21, the heat transfer to a lid or handle 15 can be easily insulated. The carbon material 23 is connected to the stainless steel plate 22 only by contact, whereby a defect in the connecting part by the thermal expansion difference and mutual diffusion between the stainless steel 22 and the carbon material 23 and the deterioration of the materials can also be moderated.
