Abstract:
To provide a fuel battery cell structure capable of suppressing both carbon deposition and catalyst deterioration.SOLUTION: There is provided a fuel battery cell structure that includes an internally modified type fuel battery cell having an electrode layer and an electrolyte layer supported on one surface of a metal support layer and a separator fitted on the other surface, and also has a fuel flow passage formed between the metal support layer and separator. and that comprises: a first modified catalyst layer provided to the metal support layer in an upstream region of the fuel flow passage; a second modified catalyst layer provided to the metal support layer in a downstream region of the fuel flow passage; and a fuel flowing-out preventive film which is provided at an end part of the first modified catalyst layer in a gas flow direction of the fuel flow passage, and also suppresses fuel from bypassing the first modified catalyst layer to flow out to the metal support layer. Especially, the first modified catalyst layer is formed of a material having higher effect of suppressing carbon deposit than the second modified catalyst layer, and the fuel flowing-out preventive layer includes a carbon oxide absorber which absorbs carbon oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
