Abstract:
To provide a liquid water determination device for a fuel cell capable of nondestructively determining the presence or absence of produced water in a flow path of a separator.SOLUTION: A liquid water determination device 14 for a fuel cell 12 includes an ultrasonic wave probe 40 capable of injecting an ultrasonic wave in the opposite direction of separators 18, 20. In such a configuration, when the ultrasonic wave is emitted from the ultrasonic wave probe 40, data obtained differs depending on the presence or absence of a produced water 26 in a flow channel 24. Thereby it is possible to nondestructively determine the presence or absence of the produced water 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
