To prevent a fuel cell power generating device from lowering of power generation efficiency due to the oxidation of the hydrogen as a fuel, caused by excessive supply of oxygen, which is caused by supplying oxygen, with a volume exceeding the volume necessary for the oxidation of carbon monoxide, to a purifying part where carbon monoxide is oxidized.
The fuel cell power generating device comprises a reforming part 1, a carbon monoxide removing part composed of a denaturing part 5 and a purifying part 7, an oxidation gas supplying part 6 supplying oxidation gas to the carbon monoxide removing part, a fuel cell power generating part 8 generating electric power using hydrogen gas supplied from the carbon monoxide removing part, an operation temperature detecting part 11 mounted to the fuel cell power generating part 8, and detecting the operation temperature of the same, and an oxidation gas control part 12 controlling the supply volume of the oxidation gas supplied from the oxidation gas supplying part depending on the temperature detected at the temperature detecting part.
