Abstract:
To provide a fuel cell pretreatment method capable of performing aging in which deterioration of an electrolyte membrane is suppressed.SOLUTION: Before carrying out an aging step, a gas for humidification is introduced into a battery cell, and then pressure is applied to the battery cell to condense the humidifying gas in the battery cell and change the gas into condensed water, the applied pressure moves the condensed water to a portion where the pH does not increase (for example, the edge of a power generation unit), and then the aging step is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
