Abstract:
To provide a fuel cell ship having an antitheft function.SOLUTION: A fuel cell ship (1) includes an electrically-driven outboard motor (6), a fuel cell unit (2) for supplying power to the electrically-driven outboard motor, a hydrogen fuel tank (3) for supplying hydrogen fuel to the fuel cell unit, a secondary battery (4) of an auxiliary power supply of the fuel cell unit, and a housing part (12) for housing the secondary battery. In the fuel cell ship, the hydrogen fuel tank is provided with a relief valve (30), the housing part (12) is provided with an opening (12c) for introducing the secondary battery, a lid member (12b) for tightly sealing the opening, and means (12a) for detecting illegal release of the lid member. When the illegal release is detected, the relief valve is released, and then, hydrogen is emitted from the hydrogen fuel tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
