Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method used in the form of a stack, which eliminates the need for all fuel battery cells to be unfastened after inspection of the fuel battery stack.SOLUTION: In a first plate and a second plate opposite each other with a stack accommodating area of a fuel battery stack between them, the first plate is located on the manifold plate side of the fuel battery stack, and the second plate is located on the end plate side, which is on the other end side of the stack. The fuel battery stack is pressed in a cell layering direction by a plurality of first shafts disposed in contact with the manifold plate after thrusting through a notch the first plate and a second shaft disposed in contact with the end plate after thrusting through a notch in the second plate. Each notch is formed along a direction orthogonal to the cell layering direction from a plate end. The notch in the first plate does not overlap a manifold hole in the manifold plate as viewed from the cell layering direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
