Entrance side cooling medium communicating holes 33a1, 33a2 oblong in an arrow mark B direction, separated by a rib part 35, are formed on an upper long side of a first metallic separator 26 as a constituent of a unit cell 12. The rib part 35 is formed so that a width H1 of an end part 35a at an outside of the unit cell 12 is structured wider than a width H2 of an end part 35b at an inside of the unit cell 12. Inner wall faces of the end parts 35a, 35b are formed into curved faces having curvatures of R1, R2, respectively, so as to prevent concentration of stress.
