Abstract:
To provide a fuel cell system and a vehicle achieving high energy efficiency by utilizing the energy of high pressure in a hydrogen tank.
The fuel cell system comprises an expander 13 for pressing a piston 13b by the expansion of high pressure hydrogen emitted from a hydrogen tank 11, and a compressor 23 for compressing air by utilizing the presses by the expander 13 to press a piston 23b. The expander 13 and the compressor 23 are connected to each other via a crankshaft 51. Furthermore, auxiliaries, such as a water pump 34, are connected to the crankshaft 51.
