Abstract:
To provide a fuel cell system that can appropriately adjust a timing for exhausting anode off-gas and maintain high fuel-efficiency of anode gas.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 comprises a fuel cell 2, a supply passage 3, a supply valve 31, an exhaust passage 4, an exhaust valve 41, and a cell control device 7. A supply valve control part 71 of the cell control device 7 supplies the supply passage 3 with supplied amounts of anode gas A1 corresponding to required power generation amounts Wt required in the fuel cell 2 and repeatedly switches the supply valve 31 from a cut-off position 302 to a supply position 301 at a specified cycle time. An exhaust valve control part 72 of the cell control device 7 maintains the exhaust valve 41 at a holding position 402 in a time zone during which the supply valve 31 is at the supply position 301, in the cycle time, and selects a maintenance of the exhaust valve 41 at the holding position 402 and switching of the exhaust valve 41 into an exhaust position, in a time zone during which the supply valve 31 is at the cut-off position, in the cycle time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
