Title:
FUEL CELL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3820992
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system with a short starting period, having an air flow rate control means preventing the fuel cell system from freezing and adhering.
SOLUTION: The fuel cell main body 12 generates electricity from the air and reformed gas generated by a reforming device 11. A combustion device 15 burns exhaust gas from the fuel cell main body 12. A compressor 3 supplies the air for the normal operation to the reforming device 11, to the fuel cell main body 12, and to the combustion device 15 through flow rate control valves 10, 9, 8, and works as a supply source of the air without containing water drop. When the operation of the fuel cell is stopped, the water drop adhering to the flow rate control valves 10, 9, 8 of which, the opening degree is set so that the air flows with high speed, is blown off by using the air dried by an air dryer 21.
