Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of operating a fuel cell in a suitable condition by keeping the temperature of a reforming catalyst at a predetermined value even if the temperature of a raw fuel gas varies.
SOLUTION: This fuel cell system is provided with: the fuel cell fed with a fuel gas and a cathode air for generating electricity; an air introduction means comprising a reforming air amount control valve V1 and a control means CU for combusting an exhaust gas exhausted from the fuel cell to evaporate a liquid raw fuel by utilizing combustion heat thereof and for feeding it to an evaporator by regulating the flow rate of a reforming air used for reform according to the injection amount of the raw fuel and the temperature of the raw fuel gas; and a reformer for producing the fuel gas by reforming the raw fuel gas.
