Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which occurrence of an unsafe event is suppressed, by suppressing release of unreacted gas, supplied into the system to the outside.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes: a reformer having a reforming part generating reformed gas, and a combustion part for heating the reforming part; N fuel cells generating power by using the reformed gas; first steam recovery means provided, respectively, between two adjoining fuel cells, condensing and recovering steam in the off-gas discharged from a fuel cell in farther upstream, and supplying the off-gas, from which steam is recovered, to a fuel cell in farther downstream; an off-gas path for supplying the off-gas to the combustion part; a second steam recovery means for condensing and recovering steam in the off-gas discharged from the combustion part; a condensate water supply path for supplying the condensate water, recovered by the first steam recovery means, to the second steam recovery means; water level detection means for detecting the water level of the first steam recovery means; and an on-off valve opening and closing based on a detected water level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
