Abstract:
To provide a fuel cell system that efficiently deodorizes hydrogen gas odorized with an odorant.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell that generates electricity by distributing hydrogen gas odorized by an odorant other than a sulfur compound, a deodorizing unit that is one of an adsorption unit disposed one of upstream and downstream of the fuel cell and provided with an adsorbent for adsorbing the odorant and an odor eliminating unit that reacts the odoriferizable odorant with the hydrogen gas due to reaction with the hydrogen gas to form an odorless component, and a depressurizing unit that is disposed upstream of the fuel cell and depressurizes the hydrogen gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
