To realize simplification in structure of a passive type fuel cell unit.
The electronic equipment system includes an electronic equipment 5 and a passive type fuel cell unit 1 for supplying power to the electronic equipment 5. The fuel cell unit 1 includes a power generating unit 11 including a power generating cell generating power with the use of fuel, a power source unit 12 for generating voltage the electronic equipment 5 can use based on voltage generated by the power generating unit 11, and an input/output terminal 14 connected to the power source unit 12 for electrically connecting the electronic equipment 5. The electronic equipment 5 includes a battery 53 capable of charging and discharging, a charging circuit 54 carrying out charging and discharging of the battery 53, and an input/output terminal 56 connected to the charging circuit 54 for electrically connecting with the input/out terminal 14 of the fuel cell unit 1. The charging circuit 54 supplies power for driving the power source unit 12 with the use of power obtained from the battery 53, during the period when an output voltage of the power source unit 12 is below a given value.
