To sufficiently perform catalytic reaction in the fuel electrode and increase output.
The fuel cell comprises a plurality of cells having an electrolyte membrane, an air electrode arranged on one side of the electrolyte membrane, and a fuel electrode arranged on the other side of the electrolyte membrane, a separator substrate which is arranged between each cells and cut off fuel gas and air supplied respectively to adjoining cells, and a separator having a collector in which an air supply passage is formed between the air electrodes and a fuel supply passage is formed between the fuel electrodes. The separator is provided with a waterdrop exclusion member 154 to remove waterdrop 161 condensed on the surface of the collector. Even if water is condensed on the separator accompanying temperature change due to fluctuations of load connected to the fuel cell, the waterdrop exclusion member 154 is deformed and waterdrop 161 is automatically scraped away and removed.
