PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which inflow of water to a power generation cell can be suppressed.SOLUTION: The fuel cell has stacked power generation cells and end cells provided in ends in the stacking direction of those power generation cells. A hydrogen gas flow passage through which a hydrogen gas flows is formed in the power generation cell. The fuel cell has a hydrogen gas introduction path 12 for distributing and introducing the hydrogen gas into hydrogen gas flow passages of the respective power generation cells, and a hydrogen gas discharge path for joining hydrogen gases having passed through hydrogen gas flow passages, together and discharging the joined hydrogen gas. A bypass flow passage 11B which causes the hydrogen gas introduction paths 12 and the hydrogen gas discharge path to communicate with each other is formed in the end cell. The bypass flow passage 11B is comprised of a plurality of parallel paths 80 which individually communicate with the hydrogen gas introduction path 12. A parallel path 80 on a lower side among those parallel paths 80 has smaller pressure loss than that of a parallel path 80 on an upper side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
