Abstract:
To suppress swelling of an electrolyte membrane caused by residence of liquid water in a non-power generation region of a fuel cell.SOLUTION: A fuel cell is configured so that an anode side non-power generation region is opposed to a cathode side non-power generation region while a membrane electrode assembly is interposed and is not opposed to a cathode side gas flow channel (power generation region). Liquid water is thereby suppressed from entering from the cathode side power generation region to the anode side non-power generation region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
