To provide a fuel combustion apparatus capable of being realized with a small space and with a low cost, and manufactured compactly at a low cost with a low running cost, a boiler using the fuel combustion apparatus as a combustion apparatus, and a heating furnace including the fuel combustion apparatus.
Dimethyl ether (DME) of liquid state supplied from a DME storage tank 1 through a supply pipe 2 is separated into gaseous DME and liquid DME in a gas-liquid separation vessel 4. The liquid DME is pressurized by a pressurizing pump 7 attached in a liquid DME supply pipe 6, and then atomized to burn, in a two fluid spraying type burner 8, by injection of the gaseous DME as a spraying medium. Since air or the like is not used as the spraying medium, installation of an air pump or the like is not necessary, space saving is achieved, and the running cost is suppressed low. Since the pressurizing pump 7 pressurizes the liquid DME, generation of gas bubbles by vaporization of the liquid DME can be prevented.
