To protect a fuel container when filling fuel by preventing a fuel pressure in the fuel container of synthetic resin from lowering to a designated value or lower.
When fuel pressure P in the fuel container gets less than a designated value P0 (S1, S2), vehicle traction force is reduced through lowering of an output torque in a high load operation area by limiting the movable range of an accel pedal more than a normal time (S3). Thereby, an operator is sensuously notified through an uncomfortable feeling that the fuel filling time has come. Fuel filling is urged by trying to remove the uncomfortable feeling, and if the fuel is filled at that point, the fuel container is prevented from being plastically deformed even if normal fuel filling is carried out. Thereby, the fuel container is protected. Instead of limiting the movable range of the accel pedal, an amount of fuel supply in the high load area may be reduced.
