To provide a fuel filter which can be assembled easily and inexpensively and prolong service life of a filter main body.

A filter main body 40 is constituted by a molding and is nipped and held by ribs formed on inner peripheral walls of a pump case 11 and a flange member 20. The fuel discharged from a discharge pipe 31 of a pump main body 30 passes through a communicating passage formed on the ribs, is expanded along an end face 40a on an inlet side of the filter main body 40, and flows into the filter main body 40. The fuel flowing into the filter main body 40 is widened in the direction of cross section of the filter main body 40 which crosses the direction of flowing in orthogonally without leaning to one section and passes the filter main body 40. The filter main body 40 can be easily assembled on the pump case and the flange member by nipping and holding the filter main body by the ribs.
