Abstract:

To provide a fuel injection control device of an internal combustion engine which can precisely estimate the amount of purge gas flowing into a combustion chamber by precisely setting a trans-port-delay compensation value even in the case of an internal combustion engine which does not have a positive correlation between a pipe internal pressure and intake speed in an air intake passage.

The control device 50 stores purge-gas passing amount which is the amount of purge-gas passing through a purge valve 35 in association with the time elapsed. Then a time lag DLY and an anneal coefficient NMS used for anneal processing are each set based on the pipe-internal pressure of the air intake passage 13 and the intake speed of the air flowing into the combustion chamber. The time lag DLY is the time which lapses before the purge gas, which has passed through the purge valve 35, reaches the combustion chamber 12. Then at the timing of calculating the purge-gas inflow amount which flows into the combustion chamber 12, the purge-gas inflow amount is calculated at the timing by performing anneal processing with respect to the purge-gas passing amount by using the anneal coefficient NMS.
