Abstract:

To execute accurate air fuel ratio feedback control while suppressing an increase of a program capacity.

A wall surface adhesion correction quantity FMW is calculated by taking into account the change of a fuel quantity adhering on a wall surface of an intake air passage during transient operation in which an engine load is changed, and the fuel quantity injected from a primary injector 20 is corrected by the wall surface adhesion correction quantity FMW. Consequently, an increase of a program capacity is suppressed. A primary injector 20 has a shorter time until injected fuel is introduced to a combustion chamber than a secondary injector 21. Since fuel adhering on the wall surface is easily vaporized by heat transferred from the combustion chamber, a wall surface adhesion quantity becomes smaller than that of the secondary injector 21. Because of those reasons, a high response and accurate correction to the change of the wall surface adhesion quantity can be performed by wall the surface adhesion correction quantity FMW.
