Abstract:
A plurality of injection rate waveforms include an isobaric injection rate waveform for performing a control so that the cylinder pressure in a combustion chamber (10a) is equal to or less than the maximum cylinder pressure, the isobaric injection rate waveform involving injection in two stages; i.e., a first-stage injection and a second-stage injection, the rate of change in the increase in the injection rate in the first-stage injection being greater than the rate of change in the second-stage injection. The injection rate waveform of the first-stage injection has a portion in which the injection rate increases from the start of the first-stage injection and reaches the maximum injection rate, and a portion in which the injection rate decreases from the maximum injection rate. The injection rate waveform of the second-stage injection is such that the injection rate at the start of the second-stage injection is greater than zero, and has a portion in which the injection rate increases from the start of the second-stage injection and reaches the maximum injection rate, and a portion in which the injection rate decreases from the maximum injection rate. A control unit (30) performs a control so that injection is performed according to the isobaric injection rate waveform when the degree of ignition delay, acquired by an ignition acquisition unit (30), is smaller than a threshold value, and an output request made to an internal combustion engine (10) is a high-output request for an output higher than a predetermined output.
