Abstract:

PURPOSE: To achieve good engine performance over the entire operating range by preparing two control patterns for executing start under warming and limitation of the maximum injection under full-open operation independently from limitation of the maximum injection under normal temperature steady state then selecting said patterns with correspondence to the operating conditions.

CONSTITUTION: Under operation of engine, a microcomputer 4 will decide whether the engine rotation to be detected through a rotation sensor 2 is lower than predetermined level on condition that it is within a setting time after turning off of an idle opening position sensor 1. If the answer is YES, it is decided whether the car speed to be detected through a car speed sensor 3 is lower than a setting level and if the answer is YES, second control table for setting the relation between the water temperature and the fuel injection is selected. While if the answers are NO, first control table for setting the relation between the intake air and the fuel injection is selected. Then the maximum injection of fuel injection valve 5 is limited in accordance to each table.
