PURPOSE: To reduce noise even in a space except an idle operating range, in a fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine having an injection timing control timer.

CONSTITUTION: The fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine provided with a timer device A2 for advancing or delaying a fuel injection timing by opening/closing operation of a timing control valve A1, is provided with an operating condition detecting means A3 for detecting operating condition of the internal combustion engine, and a timing control valve control means A4 for advancing the closing timing of the timing control valve A1 in compliance with that a load or a rotational speed is increased, on the basis of operating condition detected by the operating condition detecting means A3.
