Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the sufficient amount of fuel to be supplied to the high-speed/high-load range, so as to improve engine performance by injecting the specific amount of fuel in a short time through a process of increasing fuel injection pressure of an injector in the specific combustion range in a fuel injection device provided with two injectors.

CONSTITUTION: The combustion range is divided into first to third ranges. The lamination combustion is performed by fuel injection by an injector 31 in the first range, the premix combustion is performed by fuel injection by the injector 31 in the second range, and premix combustion is performed by fuel injection by injectors 31, 32 in the third range. In such a two-cycle engine 1, the fuel injection pressure P11 in the first range by the injector 31 and the fuel injection pressures P12, P13 in the second and third ranges are so controlled as to be P11<P12, P13. Thereby, the specific amount of fuel can be injected in the second and third ranges in a short time by an exceeding quantity fuel injection pressure of the injector 31, and high engine output is obtained.
