Abstract:
To effectively collect energy of spill fuel which is discarded conventionally.
In a fuel injection pump, force feeding of fuel is finished when the fuel pressurized in a plunger chamber 5 is discharged from a spill port 7. In the vicinity of an outlet of the spill port 7, a pump means 8, which is driven by means of a pressure of the spill fuel discharged from the spill port 7 so as to pressurize the fuel to be fed to the plunger 5, is arranged.
