PURPOSE: To immediately judge any changes or damages in a device, to facilitate repairs, and to improve the fuel consumption and generation of noises and toxic substances by adjusting the fuel injection amount in an injection element provided on each combustion cylinder by a specified injection adjusting device.
CONSTITUTION: An injection amount adjusting device (arrangement device) 120 arranged forward of a fuel pump 6 to supply the fuel to an injection element 2 is controlled by a control machine 31, and the fuel is supplied from a fuel tank 34 through a conduit 12 by the action of a preliminary feed pump 243. The arrangement device 120 is provided with a 2/2-way valve 39, and the valve 39 is opened/closed to obtain the desired fuel injection amount according to the position of a pump piston 41 of the fuel pump 6. That means, the 2/2-way valve 39 is connected to the control machine 31 via the connecting conduit 82, and opened until the suction amount reaches the target value when the piston slides in the suction direction by one stroke of the engine, and the extremely correct injection amount is outputted thereby.
