Title:
FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM OF ROTARY PISTON ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0763064
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To maintain the degree of stratification of fuel so properly according to an engine driving state in securing an adequate atomizing angle at all times by varying this atomizing angle of fuel to be sprayed according to the engine driving state in the case where the fuel is directly sprayed to the inner part of a working chamber from a fuel injection valve.

CONSTITUTION: A holding bracket 31 is clamped to the tip part of a fuel injection valve 13 in a rotor housing 1 and, in turn, this tip part of the valve 13, namely, a mixing chamber 32, where a nozzle hole is situated, is formed in the holding bracket 31, while a lower end of an assist air passage 33 is opened to this mixing chamber 32. In addition, a pair of guide members 34 (34A, 34B) consisting of a magnetic member each are installed in the holding bracket 31 while a pair of coils (36A, 36B) are installed in the rearward of these elements. Moreover, exciting and de-exciting these coils 34 are controlled by a control unit U on the basis of a detecting signal out of a load sensor S1, and thereby an interval between both the guide members 36 (36A and 36B) is adjusted, large or small, properly. With this constitution, two atomizing angles θ1 and θ2 of fuel being sprayed out of the nozzle hole are varied as specified.
