To provide a fuel injection valve which can be manufactured inexpensively, and adapted for various demands of each internal combustion engine inexpensively.
This valve comprises a piezoelectric actuator 4; an actuator piston 9 having a first guide gap 28; and a stroke piston 15 action-coupled with the actuator piston 9 via a pressure medium and having a second guide gap 29. An actuator piston working face 25 and a stroke piston working face 26 are faced directly to a working chamber 10 filled with the pressure medium. For the purpose of compensating length variation due to thermal expansion of the actuator 4, a compensating device 30 for accepting or transferring a part of the pressure medium via a restriction part 14 is provided, and the restriction part 14 is formed structurally separately from the guide gaps 28, 29.
