To provide a fuel injection valve compatibly achieving inhibition of drop of reliability such as failure due to wear and stabilization of a displacement expansion function.
This valve provided with a control valve controlling open and close operation of a valve element opening and closing an injection hole 57, and an actuator 2 driving the control valve for indirectly controlling the valve element. The valve includes a piston shape displacement take out part 24 taking out displacement of the actuator 2 to an outside and is provided with: a fuel pressure generating part 36 converting displacement of the displacement take out part to fuel pressure; a control valve member 62 using fuel pressure of the fuel pressure generating part as a drive source, and separated from and seated on a valve seat 66 of the control valve; a valve chamber 103 disposed at an upstream side of the valve seat 66 of the control valve, and having fuel pressure in the same increased and decreased by the control valve member's 62 being separated from and seated on the valve seat 66; and a pressure control chamber 104 disposed at an upstream side of the valve seat and applying back pressure on the valve element. The control valve member is installed among the valve chamber, a liquid pressure generating part, and a low pressure part 109. The valve chamber is provided with a communication channel 67 including an orifice 68 between the valve chamber and the low pressure part.
