Abstract:
The fuel injector injects fuel from a fuel store (1) at two or more different pressures. It includes an injector housing (11) in which a jet needle (6) can move, and a selectively-openable injection jet (7). The fuel pressure in the control cavity (12) controls a pressure transmitter (19), which sends the fuel on at enhanced pressure.
