To provide a fuel oil composition for a diesel engine with a reformer, the oil composition being applied to both an existing diesel engine and a diesel engine with a reformer, not requiring establishment of a fuel feeding infrastructure and producing a large amount of hydrogen by a dehydrogenation reaction.
The fuel oil composition for the diesel engine with the reformer is characterized in that the sulfur content is 10 mass ppm or less, the 90% distillation temperature is 360°C or lower, the cetane number is 45 or higher, the naphthene content is more than 20 vol.% and less than 30 vol.%, and the density at 15°C is 0.860 g/cm3 or less, and is used for the diesel engine with the reformer, the diesel engine being provided with the reformer for dehydrogenating the fuel oil composition using a dehydrogenation catalyst and reforming it to a reformed fuel oil composition.
