PURPOSE: To allow a pilot to adjust a speed over confirmation and operate an equipment at an invariably excellent fuel rate, and to save fuel by providing a speed sensor, fuel flow rate sensor, fuel rate arithmetic circuit and its storage circuit, and display device for displaying the fuel rate.

CONSTITUTION: The speed of the transportation equipment is detected by the speed sensor 10 and the fuel flow rate is detected momentarily by the fuel flow rate sensor 16; and their outputs are inputted to an arithmetic circuit 14 to calculate the fuel rate of the speed and fuel flow rate. Then, stored fuel rates corresponding to respective speeds are displayed on the liquid-crystal display device 20 in the form a correlation curve A. When the environments are the same, the correlation curve A does not vary, so the momentary fuel rate displayed at a point A' is compared with the curve A. Consequently, the pilot judges whether current control is efficient or not at a look and performs the control at a good fuel rate to save the fuel.
