Abstract:
To provide a fuel reforming system capable of suppressing generation of deposit.SOLUTION: A fuel addition device 31 adds reforming fuel to exhaust gas. A fuel reformer 35 reforms fuel in exhaust gas including the added reforming fuel. An exhaust gas recirculation passage 23 communicates an exhaust passage 22 and an intake passage 21 of an engine 10 with each other to supply recirculation gas including the fuel reformed by the fuel reformer 35 to the intake passage 21. An EGR cooler 45 is provided in the exhaust gas recirculation passage 23 to cool the recirculation gas. A fuel recovery device 50 is provided on the exhaust passage 22 side of the EGR cooler 45 in the exhaust gas recirculation passage 23, and can recover hydrocarbon in the recirculation gas. Due to this configuration, since the amount of hydrocarbon flowing into the EGR cooler 45 can be reduced, generation of deposit in the EGR cooler 45 can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
