To realize a fuel storage and delivery apparatus and process for providing one or more non-miscible fuels to a multi-fuel engine.

A fuel storage and delivery apparatus is provided with a fuel reservoir 20 for storing first and second non-miscible fuels 15, 16 in communication with each other, and the first and second fuels define a phase interface 24 therebetween. The fuel reservoir has a bottom 26, and first and second outlets 28, 29 adapted to receive the first and second fuels. The first and second outlets are positioned adjacent to the bottom and the phase interface by a float 55. The fuel delivery apparatus has level sensing means 43, 42 for sensing the fuel level of the first and second fuels in the reservoir to generate a signal, and flow rate sensing means 48, 47 for measuring the flow rate of the first and second fuels passing through conduits to generate a signal. A flow rate control device 49 electrically connected to the level sensing means and the flow rate sensing means, receives the fluid level signal and the flow rate signal to maintain the flow rate of the first and second fuels at predetermined values, which are a function of both the signals.
