Abstract:

To improve the accuracy of fuel supply control performed during excessive driving by setting an excessive time correction value based on engine load fluctuation, an engine temperature and an engine load immediately before the detection of an excessive driving state and calculating an excessive time fuel supply amount based on the set fuel supply amount and the excessive time correction value.

In a control unit 10 to which signals are inputted from an air flow meter 11, a crank angle sensor 12, a throttle sensor 13 and the like, a basic fuel injection amount is calculated based on a taken-in air flow rate and an engine revolution speed. The changing amount of a cylinder air amount equivalent fuel injection amount for each cylinder is calculated by obtaining a difference between current and previous cylinder air amount equivalent fuel injections amounts. Then, a water temperature correction coefficient is calculated based on a cooling water temperature. A load correction coefficient is calculated based on the previous cylinder air amount equivalent fuel injection amount, a revolution correction coefficient is calculated based on a previous engine revolution speed, a deceleration time water flow correction amount for each cylinder is calculated based on these calculated values and this is reflected on a last injection amount.
