Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device that quickly and reliably supplies fuel by pressure with a fuel pump when a device is resumed from a fuel cut mode.SOLUTION: The fuel supply device includes: a fuel supply mechanism 40 for selecting a fuel supply mode for supplying fuel to an injector 31 via a supply pipe L when a fuel injection in an engine 10 is executed or a fuel cut mode for stopping supply of fuel to the injector 31; a relief unit 48 for opening the supply pipe L at a downstream side so that a part of the fuel is discharged into a fuel tank 41; and an ECU 70 for controlling the operation of the fuel supply mechanism 40 and the relief unit 48. The ECU 70 is configured to, when the injector 31 enters the fuel cut mode where the injection of fuel is temporarily stopped during the engine rotation, control the fuel supply mechanism 40 to increase at least either the supply pressure or the supply amount of the fuel via the supply pipe L, and control the relief unit 48 to discharge a part of the fuel via the supply pipe L into the fuel tank 41.
