Title:
FUEL TANK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1113571
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a fuel tank which can efficiently discharge fuel in a bladder housed in a rigid vessel and minimize the residue of fuel. SOLUTION: A pressure supplying port 5 is formed on one upper side of a rigid vessel 2 housing a hollow cylindrical bladder 1 for introducing exhaust pressure P (pressurized fluid) from an engine 4. A fuel discharging port 3 connected to a discharging port 1a of the bladder 1 is formed on the other lower side, in the opposite direction to the pressure supply port 5. The bladder 1 is formed of flexible material composed of rubber elastic body such as rubber and resin, to be a hollow cylinder. Thickness (t) of the bladder 1 is formed to be gradually increased from the introduction side of the exhaust pressure P to the fuel discharge side. In a first embodiment, the thickness (t) is varied in a transverse direction, step by step in third stages.
