Abstract:
PURPOSE:To maintain always constant the output and input powers of a speed change unit, by providing such an arrangement that the rotation of the output shaft of the speed change unit is made variable in accordance with the resistance of a driven machine. CONSTITUTION:Inner gear rings 3, 4 having different sizes are rotated around an input shaft 1, and are meshed with planetary gears 5, 6 which are fixed to a shaft 7 rotatably attached to a carrier 8 that is secured to the shaft 1 to rotate at the same rotational speed as that of the input shaft 1. Further, ther shaft 7 rotates about the input shaft 1, going along a circular orbit 9. An inner ring gears 3, 4 are secured with bevel gears 10, 11 having the same size as that of the former and meshed with a planetary bevel gear 12 therebetween. The rotary shaft of the gear 12 is supported to a rotary cover 14 having a rotary shaft whose front half serves as an output shaft 12.
