PURPOSE: To efficiently wash the hair in a short time, by a method wherein hair-washing projections with weak torque are provided facing inside within a spherical cap the hair and scalp are washed by rotating the hair-washing projections.

CONSTITUTION: The inside of a cap is completely covered with a rubber sheet and washing projections 1 each are also held in rubber projecting parts. Each of the rubber projecting parts is made soft and thick so as not to injure the scalp, and the top end thereof is separated into several pieces, and thus it is also formed so as to massage the scalp. The torque of the projections is controlled in weak, medium strong grades by a microcomputer. A pump is provided at a tank within the cap, and a hair-washing agent and a hair-softening agent 3 are controlled for the amount and frequency thereof by the microcomputer and are ejected. Water is allowed to flow within the cap through a heating device 6 and the amount, frequency and time thereof are controlled by the microcomputer. When this apparatus is used, the head is put into a high density sponge 11, a switch is turned on and each operation is directed to the microcomputer according to user's preference, and thus the hair is washed full automatically.
