Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically grind only the padding part protruded from a finished product contour of a part even when the part is clamped with its position being shifted and inclined when the padding part of the part, the broken part of which is buildup-welded, is ground to be repaired.
SOLUTION: When part W, a broken part 2 of which is buildup-welded, is clamped, the position, the direction of inclination, and the angle of inclination of the part W are detected by a clamped state detecting means 6. Then, preliminarily set cutter path data at the time of designing are moved/rotated in response to the clamped state of the part W to be corrected to be lapped over the part W, and the data is set as the cutter path data for repair. Further, when the part is ground by an NC machining device 8 based on the data, the tool-tip is moved along the product contour of the part W, and thus only the padding part 3 which is buildup-welded and protruded from the product-contour at the time of design, is ground and repaired so that the padding part becomes a smooth and continuous surface.
