PURPOSE: To feed water from a water storage tank for the calculated water feed period at a constant water feed speed and make the precision of the water feed quantity highly precise by providing a water feed device feeding water to a rice cooking section at a constant water feed speed and a water feed control device controlling the water feed device based on the rice cooking condition set by a setting means.
CONSTITUTION: In the water feed process, a feed valve 12 is opened by a water feed device driving means 7, water is fed to a water storage tank 10 until the water level reaches the high level H1, and the feed valve 12 is closed. A water feed valve 14 is opened for the water feed period calculated by a water feed period calculating means 6, and a preset quantity of water is fed to a rice cooking section 2. When the water level in the water storage tank 10 is lowered than the low water level H2, the feed valve 12 is opened based on the output of a low-water level detector 16, and water is fed to the water storage tank 10 until the water level reaches the high water level H1. The water level of the water storage tank 10 is maintained between the low water level H2 and the high water level H1 during the water feed period, the water feed speed of the water feed device 4 is kept constant, and the water feed quantity is kept highly precise.
